After an enjoyable trip to the beach to visit Lisa's parents, we came home wondering what the garden would look like. While we were gone, it rained most days (several days the rain was extremely heavy) which can have a less that wonderful effect on things in the garden. Much to our amazement and pleasure, most things looked pretty good. Within an hour of getting home, we had picked two and a half gallons of blue berries, a gallon of green beans, some tomatoes and a few cukes. Unfortunately, the tomato plants don't look so hot after the water boarding they took from mother nature. Hopefully, they will recover enough to give us plenty of tomatoes, if not, we'll be buying them at the farmers market.
